I just got the April issue of
American Patchwork and Quilting, and scattered throughout the articles and patterns are tips from experts. Little tricks and shortcuts that can make a project a little easier - and most of them are pretty good. This is my favorite:
Time-saver: cut accurately so everything fits the first time.
I'll have to try that next time, since my close-my-eyes-and-slash-like-a-maniac method hasn't proved to produce reliable results.

that's why I'm letting most of my subscriptions die... why pay $5 for that kind of information?
Do you like that magazine? I have been thinking of subscribing but am not sure...I would love to hear your opinion...
Did they advise you not to drink while you're quilting? I think a sewing machine qualifies as "heavy machinery."
Do they think their readers are really that dumb?? (Well, I guess they did buy the magazine) If they can't come up with better things than that heaven help us.
Who knew! Did they mention not to lick the iron? Never was a fan of that magazine. Love your blog though.
