Almost definitely too good to be true.

Has anyone seen this yet?

Obviously, since it would appear to be the answer to my prayers and is relatively affordable to boot, it is certain to be a piece of crap. If anyone has seen or used one of these things, chime in!

  1. It looks to me like it has limited utility and I think it would waste a TON of fabric.

  3. I'd be interested in giving it a try to check out, but for now I think the AccuQuilt Go cutter is a "must" for many quilters.

  4. I own one and the binding maker.
It is in my opinion a "serious piece of crap".If you want to cut a straight piece of WOF fabric, forget it. Might be good for someone like Jacquie over at TallGrassPrairieStudio
who does modern wonky log cabins but for me it's a loser.
The binding maker on the other hand, is a marvel. If you have ever used the 25mm bias maker to make bias, this is a must have! I make bias all the time - I do straight of grain bias tape to machine bind - and this almost made me cry it was so great! seriously. I've done 2 small quilts so far and it was a dream.

  6. I haven't seen this one before. Looks interesting, but I prefer the control of the rotary cutter in my hand. I probably wouldn't make this purchase because as you say it's probably a piece of crap.

  7. it seems like a waste to me since you can only do a limited size of strip. and what a wast of fabric it would be!!

  8. I saw some posts on this thing the other day and checked it out on my weekly trip to Joann's. Hate to say, it looks kind of cheap and overpriced. Most of the feedback I've read is that folks can cut strips faster themselves...but given your history, you may want to try it. :) Can you take it back if you don't like it?

  9. We have these at the store I work in and while the idea I think is great, I also think they cost way too much.

  10. Have heard nothing but "don't bothers" about this one, though I think you would probably be more verbose about it.
