The pink does match the pink in the fabric, as does the yellow, but I just think the borders look like an afterthought, not a coherent design. I'm just hoping that a binding in the red will bring it all together, but I'm not keeping my hopes up.
But wait til you see the bag!!!!
No way, it looks great. The pink is a perfect match to the pink in the other fabics. You have probably been looking at it too long. This happens to many a quilter, by the time you are done with a project you are sick of looking at it, and hate it. But to everyone else it's awesome! You'll like it better after you haven't been working on it everyday. =)
ReplyDeleteI was thinking "red border" right when I read it. Girl, you are doing great. I am STILL working on my first quilt... my daughter's quilt. I started when she was about 3 months - she will be 2 in December. Give yourself the credit you deserve!!
