I just got the April issue of
American Patchwork and Quilting, and scattered throughout the articles and patterns are tips from experts. Little tricks and shortcuts that can make a project a little easier - and most of them are pretty good. This is my favorite:
Time-saver: cut accurately so everything fits the first time.
I'll have to try that next time, since my close-my-eyes-and-slash-like-a-maniac method hasn't proved to produce reliable results.
that's why I'm letting most of my subscriptions die... why pay $5 for that kind of information?

ReplyDeleteDid they advise you not to drink while you're quilting? I think a sewing machine qualifies as "heavy machinery."
ReplyDeleteDo they think their readers are really that dumb?? (Well, I guess they did buy the magazine) If they can't come up with better things than that heaven help us.
