I went to spring market in Minneapolis in 2010 and I was scheduled to return home on my birthday. Except I left my drivers license at the restaurant from the night before. So I spent the morning walking around downtown Minneapolis in the rain with no umbrella, waiting for the restaurant to open. I waited an hour and my flight time was getting closer and closer. They didn't have it! So I got in a taxi and headed for the airport and hoped for the best. They treated me like a total terrorist. They searched my luggage in front of everyone at security. And I mean searched it. Took everything out. They asked me if I had anything with me that had my name on it, "like an electric bill or something.". My response was "oh yeah, I ALWAYS take my bills with me when I travel". I had my credit card, business cards and show ID but that stuff didn't count because it had to just be coincidence that they all had the same name on them. They called homeland security. Blah blah blah. I made it onto the plane with seconds to spare and then went straight to work upon my arrival home. <br />If you were near me or I was near you, the two of us would've torn shit up on your birthday. It's a day that should be celebrated. Because you make the world a better place just by existing. Love you!!!Lisa Sipeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01535205221573079908noreply@blogger.com
